First off, hello all devoted Beer Society members, fans, and wannabes. As webmaster and editor of Beer Society, I have to say that it is fast becoming quite a large undertaking. We have already initiated and publicly humiliated eight new recruits. But oh no, we won't stop at

As the Beer Society is rapidly expanding in member size and reviews, the workload is piling up quite a lot as well. As I am the only one who is currently involved in the web site construction, things get done rather slowly. You have to understand that it takes a long time to code the HTML, write the reviews, draw the graphics, scan and edit the pictures, and assemble it all into the confines of a web document. It takes at least 8 hours of my time to get a review onto the page, which is about 7 hours more than the free time I have every day. As it is, there are three reviews (LGD, Pilsener, and Corona) that are staring at me from the "to do" box. I will try and get these done before the big baseball tournament in Hope, BC. If I don't then I will have at least six staring me down (after all we are a beer league team!). So really, all I'm asking is for everyone to have a little patience, I'll get everything up soon. As our name states, the members of the Beer Society are quite partial to the experience of consuming beer in both small and large quantities. Because of this, we feel that it is our duty and responsibility to inform you on our stance on DRINKING AND DRIVING and other related issues concerning the results of being intoxicated.
