A Letter From the Editor...

Hello all. If you check up on the Beer Society often, you will have realized that nothing has been done for a while. Ooops. I've been really busy lately, but now that I've started school again, I will have plenty of free time to drink beer and write web pages.

The big softball trip to Hope was an overwhelming success. I can honestly say that I've never been more drunk in my life. I personally went up there with almost two flats, but it wasn't enough. Jonathan et al, were the same way. Needless to say, we lost every game of the tourney, but so what? We didn't really go to play softball, no no no. Oh, I forgot to mention that we are a beer league team.

Instead of returning home dejected, Jonathan and I had the fortunate opportunity to party in Whistler, BC for a few fun filled (and expensive) nights. Joining us were two crazy beer society hopefuls, Kelli and Sara. Even more beers were drank up there, bringing the total extended weekend calorie count up to about 70,000 or so. I'm still working that off.

This month will be a big month for The Beer Society, I can just feel it in my bones. I can foresee a lot of beer making it to my liver, but I can also see me having the time to write about it. In the long run we both benefit, believe me. Until next month, cheers!

A Public Service Announcement

Okay kids listen up, there is a serious matter that we must address. As our name states, the members of the Beer Society are quite partial to the experience of consuming beer in both small and large quantities. Because of this, we feel that it is our duty and responsibility to inform you on our stance on DRINKING AND DRIVING and other related issues concerning the results of being intoxicated.
